Have you ever heard of the practice of “earthing” or “grounding”?
I hadn’t either.  In the process of creating my new series, Biophilia, I did some research on the effects that the natural environment can have on human beings.  I was pleased and surprised to see there is a therapeutic technique called earthing (or grounding), which involves doing activities that “ground” or electrically reconnect you to the earth.
This practice seemed to point to something that is missing in our lives.  Between the crazy hours at work, family life and social media, we often leave out something essential. We end up forgetting ourselves.
This series aims to make us more aware of our habits and to make us reflect on the importance of reconnecting with our deeply rooted love for nature.

Dans cette série, je traite de l’effet que peut avoir l’environnement naturel sur l’être humain. Entre les heures de fou au travail, la vie familiale et les réseaux sociaux, nous omettons l’essentiel. Nous finissons par nous oublier. Cette série vise à nous conscientiser sur nos habitudes et à nous faire réfléchir sur l’importance de reconnecter avec notre amour profondément enraciné pour la nature
